This policy explains how Margined FZE-LLC ("Margined", "we", "us") handles personal information on our website and in the software we run for our clients.

What this policy covers

Our website, www.margined.ae.
The software we build and run for our clients, including our app on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which connects a client's own WhatsApp business number to systems that client owns.

Information we collect on our website

What you send us through our contact form or by email, such as your name, email address, company and message.
Basic, aggregated information about how the site is used, such as pages visited and device type, when analytics are switched on.

We use this to reply to you and to improve the site. We do not sell it.

Our WhatsApp Business Platform app

When one of our clients connects its WhatsApp business number through our app, we act on that client's instructions, as its service provider. The client decides what information is used and why, and its own privacy notice applies to the people who message it.

Through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, the app may receive:

messages sent to the client's WhatsApp number, and the client's replies;
the sender's phone number and WhatsApp profile name;
delivery and read updates for messages;
the WhatsApp business account and phone number details Meta shares when the number is connected.

We use this information only to provide the client's service, such as answering and routing messages and the reports the client asks for. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

The information is stored in systems the client owns or controls, in the regions the client chooses, and kept for the period the client sets. Our team accesses it only to set up, support and fix the service, on the client's instructions.

Who we share information with

The client the information belongs to.
Providers that host or run the service for the client, such as Meta, cloud hosting and email providers, under their own terms and only for that purpose.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Security

Access is limited to the people who need it, admin accounts use two step login, and information is encrypted in transit.

How long we keep information

Website enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
Client service data: for the period each client sets, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information. If you messaged one of our clients on WhatsApp, we pass your request to that business, which decides on it, and we help it carry the request out.

We handle personal information in line with the data protection laws that apply to us, including the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, and with the laws that apply to our clients.

Deleting your data

To ask for your information to be deleted, email antony.marj@margined.co with the subject "Data deletion" and the phone number or email address concerned. We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the request within 30 days, or tell you why we cannot.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top.
